Vectron Commander
Vectron Commander is the central communication software for the Vectron POS tills. It connects to all branch POS systems and provides simplified data management, automated data transfer and data evaluation. It offers comprehensive information with a minimum of effort. Changes to PLU data are conveniently completed on the central PC and can be transferred to one individual POS system or any group of POS systems. This guarantees that all POS systems work with the same data whilst requiring only a minimum of administration. The Vectron Commander software provides among others the basis for extensive analyses and reports. POS system data is read out via the Commander and for example forwarded to special back office programs. The current version now uses an interface to Microsoft Excel 2007 to process the data to clear tables including graphic diagrams. You can further process the tables and diagrams according to your demands.

Flexible POS Reports
The collected report data can be consolidated for any POS system, group of POS systems, periods or PLUs and can be compiled into clearly arranged reports. In addition to the wide range of standard reports, the report generator enables you to draw up your own individual data analyses – whether sales or staff-related. Alternatively, you can export data into Microsoft Excel format and import it directly into reports, diagrams and presentations.
The open and well-documented data interface is the key for the integration of the Vectron Commander into back office solutions. Thus, you can transfer for instance PLU data from your stock control program to the POS systems or send information on completed staff shifts into your time and attendance software. Many providers of trade-specific back office solutions have already enabled connections for this interface. Please contact your local sales representative for more information.
Vectron Commander 7
For the first time, the complete programming and configuration of the connected Vectron POS systems can be carried out via Commander 7. Useful assistants for e.g. button, layout or table map design facilitate the programming of the POS systems. The new layout of the graphical user interface and the improved user guidance now make handling the Vectron Commander software even clearer, more intuitive and easier.
Easy Programming
Newly introduced “assistants” simplify programming. These tools help you for instance to create, change or delete icons and buttons. The programming of the graphical user interface, the keyboard assignment of the POS systems and the creation of table maps is also carried out easily and rapidly via the supplied assistants. The assistant for text forms, for example, can be used for creating order forms.
Intuitive Graphical User Interface
The completely new layout of the graphical user interface and the improved user guidance make the handling of the communication software even clearer, easier and more intuitive. This makes the Vectron Commander 7 more than ever the central control element for all Vectron POS systems.
